Every year, the wonderful science center in San Francisco called the Exploratorium hosts a series of super fun events which are enjoyed primarily, but not entirely, by us nerdy kids.  One of these events is the annual Rubik’s cube competition.  You’d be stunned to see how quickly some of these folks can get a Rubik’s cube in place while blindfolded.  Today’s YouTube pick for SF stuff gives you some info on this.

San Francisco is a city where gender exists primarily to be played with.  Boys will be boys and girls will be girls … and girls will be boys and boys will be girls … and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.  Today’s San Francisco YouTube pick is a nearly four minute clip from 1998 of the Spice Girls making their way through San Francisco, except of course that the girls are boys.

San Francisco is the home to numerous interesting group activities from treasure hunts to street festivals.  One of the more creative of these activities is the “flash mob” (see here if you’re not familiar with the concept).  Flash mobs in San Francisco range from pillow fights to Santarchy but today’s San Francisco YouTube pick is of a “Where’s Waldo?” Flash Mob event.
