This montage of clips taken from the Shine photobooth would probably be a lot more fun to watch if it had been set to music but it’s a quick minute and a half clip that has moments of amusement. If you don’t know about this photobooth, it’s located in the Mission (at the bar, Shine); you go into it and take four pics and they get automatically uploaded to Flickr. Super cool idea.

One of the best things to do in San Francisco when it starts to get late is to go eighties dancing. If you can’t get out there to do it, you can always watch the YouTube clips of other people who were out and about. In this case, the dancing was done in The Mission. Warning: they sing.

One of the things that I really love about living life as a freelance writer in San Francisco is that I am always able to enjoy a really interesting range of experiences. Multiple art forms come together in today’s San Francisco YouTube pick. The short film makes use of existing street poetry and signage on Valencia Street in The Mission to form the foundation of a poem which plays across the screen, incorporating other street images as appropriate. Footage is spotty but content is creative.

One of the most amazing things about San Francisco is that there are so many different neighborhoods located so close to one another, each offering their own unique experience within the larger experience of San Francisco life.
