Is there any more appropriate place for a San Francisco site than the carnival? After all, this city is one big circus of fun happening all the time. In the spirit of that, San Fran Voice has joined the carnival. Well, the blog carnival anyway. If you aren’t familiar with blog carnivals, you can learn about them here. But basically, they compile together entries (usually weekly or monthly) from blogs which all fit under a certain category. The categories vary and since SFV loves variety, our participation in blog carnivals varies as well.
Here’s the latest blog carnivals to feature entries by San Fran Voice:
San Fran Voice is regularly a part of the Carnival of Cities hosted by our own Home Turf Media. The most recent carnivals were hosted by The San Diego Beat which included SFV’s Love Letter to San Francisco (a fact which was also noted by HTM site Brisbane is Home) and Adelaide Green Porridge Café which included SFV’s love lesson that “it’s all in the journey”.
San Fran Voice has more than one love lesson to share and was also part of the Blog Carnival Observations on Life with this “try it; you might like it” post. This carnival is hosted by Anja Merret, a UK blogger who writes “chatting to my generation”.
True to carnival nature, there is a “Carnival of the Insanities” and SFV is there with the post we have on Hyphy: The Beverage. This is part of the Dr. Sanity blog by Michigan blogger Pat Santy.
Of course, one of the main things that San Fran Voice is all about is music. As such, we’re included in the monthly “Soul of Rock ‘n Roll” carnival with our post about local band Merch.
We’re not done frolicking with the circus just yet. In fact, we’re just getting started so we’ll let you know when we’re at another carnival soon.
