San Francisco Voice

Last week, San Fran Voice really wanted you to go all out in celebrating someone other than yourself in honor of all of the birthdays that your SFV psychic knew were coming up.  This week, every single sign should be out and about celebrating yourself!  However, you shouldn’t figure others … at least the others you know with birthdays this week, so if you feel the urge to drop birthday kisses in my comment box on, I don’t know, say Friday … well, the crystal ball tells me that might be all right. 

Pisces (February 20 – March 20):  One of the things that sometimes happens when the Pisces tries to focus on himself is that he gets lost in the darker side of such reflection.  Take care of yourself this week; when you find yourself getting all wrapped up in the icky feelings of being who you are, remember that there’s someone absolutely special inside there that deserves your love and kindness.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):  Last week, SFV reminded you that: “There are many different kinds of Aries but at the heart of all of them is the me, me, me first now attitude.”  This week, you should feel perfectly at home celebrating that self and asking everyone else to celebrate it as well.  Aries is the leader of the fire signs and boy, you are on fire this week!!

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):  Find a good time this week to assert yourself and you’ll put yourself into a position which will bring great rewards in the near future.  Just make sure that you do this appropriately because if you come across as abrasive, you aren’t going to get too far.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):  This week will hardly require any effort on your part at all to take advantage of your social nature. Invites and flirtations will be right at hand and you can choose among them to have the best week of the year so far!

Cancer (June 22-July 22):  You have a tendency to be able to give advice but you can’t always take it.  This week, you should give some close attention to some subtle (or less-than-subtle) advice that the world wants you to have.  Listening now will prevent problems in the future.

Leo (July 23 – August 23):  Someone in your life is about to do something that you aren’t going to agree with.  Are you going to stand there and watch it happen or are you going to get directly involved?  You could go either way with this one but your choice actually matters to think carefully before forging ahead.

Virgo (August 22 – September 22):  If you’ve taken some emotional risks lately, you could be feeling vulnerable and on the verge of getting defensive.  Spend some time nurturing yourself in order to allow those feelings to retreat.  More likely than not, you’re in a safe emotional place if you’ll just let yourself be there comfortably.

Libra (September 24 – October 23):  You creative energy has been on fire.  Your social world has been expanding.  But it’s time to do a little bit of housekeeping to make sure everything’s in order.  Figure out who you want in your life and who you don’t and do yourself a favor by getting rid of that hanger-on who is driving you insane.

Scorpio (October 24 – November 22):  If you’ve got the urge to do something daring and different this week, you should absolutely do it.  The beginning of the week is the time to make that happen, since your stars are all set for shining their brightest.  Later in the week, adventure can still be had but it’ll take more planning than you’ll want to put in.

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 21):  Someone’s been a busy busy bee lately, but are you doing the things that you really want to be doing or are you settling for what’s easy?  Go do something this week that’s been on your mind for awhile and see if you can’t do what you want without settling at all.  This is the week that you absolutely deserve it!

Capricorn (December 22 – January 20):  Spending some time sprucing up your room will go a long way towards making you feel more comfortable in your environment.  You spend so much time out of the house that you can easily take your living surroundings for granted but having a happy home to retreat to is more important than you might think.

Aquarius (January 21 – February 19):  Someone else wants to take up all of your attention this week.  Remember that it’s perfectly within your bounds to just say “no, I’m sorry, I can’t do that right now”.  You can’t be there for anyone if you haven’t first made peace with yourself.
